Title
Concept map about the immune response
Description
The topic of the concept map is the immune response against pathogens, which means the processes that are activated after a human is infected by a pathogenic microorganism. Match each box from the right column with the correct empty boxes, in order to have the concept map completed correctly. The options available outnumber the empty boxes, so some of them will be left over. One can opt for check or submit one's answers. From the 2nd submission try and on, the grading for each correct answer is getting lower.
Notes on pedagogical utilization
The concept map can be utilized in person or in small groups (e.g. in pairs) as an exercise aiming to students' revision, practice or assessment. Working in pairs faciliates the task for students who find difficulties with it. Some concepts might be given to students if necessary. Alternatively, it can be use complementarily with the textbook, other sources (e.g. texts, videos) or other learning objects in ordet to properly 'decode' the information from the source and properly organize its concepts.
