O cenário visa atender aos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (Sustainable Development Goals - SDGs), não apenas contribuindo para a qualidade da educação (SDG 4), mas também melhorando a segurança rodoviária e tornando as cidades mais seguras, especialmente para os utentes da estrada vulneráveis (SDG 3 e 11, alvos 3.6, 11.2, 3.D). O cenário capacita os alunos a adotar comportamentos seguros no trânsito, criando consciência sobre comportamentos de risco, influências sociais e fatores de risco modificáveis, apoia a sua participação em iniciativas da sociedade civil e no desenho de respostas locais para o problema, proporcionando interações significativas com a comunidade (investigadores, especialistas em saúde pública, municípios, decisores políticos, empresas).
