This action is part of an ACD cycle under the PAFSE - Partnerships for Science Education Project and is provided by the University of Minho (UMinho) in partnership with the António Sérgio School Training Center (CFEAS). Training objectives: To support the transformation of creative ideas into programmable concepts. To support the application of low-code programming principles in the classroom. To convey the basics of the MIT APP INVENTOR tool. Present how low-code can be integrated into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) teaching. Support the application of technological solutions to solve real-life problems, particularly public health issues. Emphasize the importance of Science Communication. Promote the development of significant soft skills in their students. To be able to actively participate in the PAFSE collaboration platforms (Photodentro and e-me). Syllabus Introduction to the MIT APP Inventor platform. Exploring the basic concepts of MIT APP Inventor. Creation of a small low-code project.
